Amanda "Beatrix" Buck

After graduating with a BFA in Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design she worked in Italy but returned to New York City where her firm is currently based. She has always been creative, but after working in the Interior Design field, she felt that branching off into other areas of the design world would heighten her creativity. In December of 2011 as well as 2012, Amanda completed a winter holiday decor exhibition for the hip hotel, Dream Downtown in the Meatpacking District. After receiving a lot of buzz about the project, she decided that it was time to start her own company offering interior design/event services as well as her accessory design collection. Her overall creative concept is a unification of avant-guarde ideas and the use of traditional forms. Amanda is mainly inspired by the innovations found in high fashion, photography, interiors, architecture, global exploration, and graphic art.

As an award winner of The Decorators Club (Elsie May Gross) Scholarship for her spectacular residential design, Amanda continues to do freelance work. Currently, she divides her time between New York City and the Hamptons, all while managing her up and coming accessory design business.
